so, i don't know if you all have realized... but within the last few years- motorcycles have become pretty popular. it's definitely a new craze. i have been involved in the moto industry since i was a little girl- but dirt. not street. my boyfriend's job is focused on street, and we wanted to see what all the talk around the office was about this event called bornfree. we only live ten minutes away, so why not.
of course while i was there, i had to try their bacon wrapped hot dogs, and hand shaken strawberry lemonade. i thought that this and the rad bikes were going to be the highlight of the day and boy i was wrong. the man and i decided to venture into the unknown of vendors such as STANCE, iron and resin, and VANS... i turned the corner and bam. met the owner of foxycat- erin ballard. such a rad babe, with amazing handmade jewelry. if you know me, you know i'm OBSESSED with turquoise. i'm always down for a cute cuff or stacker. and man, she had a ton to choose from.
erin does some rad stamping on the cuffs, and of course i reached out to her a couple days later to get a couple made. her customer service is amazing, as well as the quality. she loves custom pieces, so feel free to find her on instagram, and/or her etsy to find out more!
okay, so bornfree was rad. got my hot dog, a little tanner, dirtied up my vans, and purchased some turquoise. overall: if your'e in the southern california area and into any of that- hit up bornfree next year.
