i don't know what it is. but sweaters are my everything. i mean, i literally buy one probably once a week- and i am still never satisfied with my quantity. obsessed? maybe. plus, it has finally started to rain in southern california, what? i know. making it officially, sweater weather. i scored this super rad minkpink sweater from urban outfitters this black friday sale. ready? get this shiii. originally priced at $110.00 marked down to $50.00 actually purchased for $25.00 like, jesus. minkpink for $25! who WOULDN'T purchase it?. <<>> pair with a cute felt hat, simple gold necklace, denim, and booties. <<>> interested? you can purchase it here. unfortunately for not as good as a deal i paid for it. but check your local uo store on availability for the sale price. what rad deals did you get black friday/cyber monday? did you follow my guide? let me know!
coming soon: holiday gifts for yourself and others all for under $50. imagine i'm listening to christmas tunes, and drinking hot chocolate to stay as cheery as possible through this post. <<>> black friday blows. when you work retail. it's the most dreaded day of the year that you literally start planning for in july. and now that most companies are opening on thanksgiving, you barely get a day with your family. buttttt.... with every negative, there must be a positive, right? follow my fool proof guideline to black friday. how to score the best deals. amazing product. all without getting trampled for it. think you can deal? i'm sure you can. whether or not you go out all night, or for five minutes it'll be an experience you'll never forget. just remember- don't fight a grandma for the last iPad. totes not worth it!
don't hate me. with crazy holidays coming up, my life has been ultra busy and exhausting. i will never go this long without posting again, bloggers honor. okay. so if you had to "define" my look it'd def be bohemian. and one of my go to and most amazing brands of all is free people. going into this holiday season a lot of their chunky sweaters caught my eye. and as soon as you know it, i have like three on my "christmas list." i am on a mission for this dress for black friday. i tried it on and fell absolutely in love with it. the lace is a perfect touch of classiness. (coming tuesday, how to conquer black friday.) they also have an "iconic" slip that you throw a sweater over and bam. it's the cutest little boho look. peep below!
i've been one of the biggest obey supporters for the longest time. it's rad to have watched them grow to be such a large company, while they have become more fashion driven rather than just graphic tee's and sweaters. when i saw this collection, my jaw literally dropped. so prepare yourself. my fav. items: crosby dress. / jane street dress / maverick jacket / pike funnel neck sweater / charlotte jacket / lean and mean coated denim / lola sweatpants / savages leather jacket
shop the complete 2014 obey holiday collection here. i know. i know. don't yell at me. it's work! i've literally been working 20 hour days since saturday. business sales meeting and when they say dinner, they mean... some food and 3 hours of work conversation. ;/ but, i'm having a blast with lots of the best people i've met since my move to southern california. since i've been here though. i've really noticed a trend that has taken over california (and i'm assuming the rest of the U..S. by storm) PLAID. let's get real. when about 6 girls and 2 guys jump in the elevator with a non-plaid human... i could honestly see the terror on her face; like we were part of some drug cartel.... we were all in red/blue/brown plaids.
why i love plaid: it's so comfy. and it gives any basic outfit an extra bit of a fashion statement. it's like i borrows my boy's sweater. holy shiiii. thanksgiving is just around the corner, and you know what that means? so is christmas! i think i've already mentioned this a million times- but it's my most fav part of the year. i've already watched elf like 200 times. no joke. my boyfriend wants to kill me. so anyways- with christmas coming up i've already started to compile my christmas list. yes, i'm 23 and still have a christmas list. who doesn't? i even make my boyfriend compile one, so i know what i'm getting him is something he even wants. lets face it- if he didn't i'd buy him clothes, and cute little gifts that he would honestly wonder "what is this shit?" so here i am- making a list for all you guys to hopefully, possibly, maybe, get your friend/significant other/sister/brother/etc. something they actually want for christmas. let's start with him. (just assuming most of my readers are female.) all items found at urban outfitters. makes for easy returns, and with that new urban app, you could get some discounts. <<click photo to purchase.>> now- let's move onto her. probably the most difficult person you could ever shop for. again, all from urban outfitters. and common key- gold. bitche$ love gold. and yes, if you're wondering there are a few of these things on my christmas list. hope this helps you guys!
leave a comment and let me know whats on your list! <<>> i love love love love trends. but in moderation. since about september, i have been telling everyone around me shag is coming back. and not one person believed me. BAM. it's everywhere. the runway, street style, most every retail store and brand. and it's big. i loved the shag vests, and oversized sweaters... but in southern california, it's not very practical as it's a miracle if the temperature drops below 65 degrees. but my life changed- when i found this sweater.. i love to pair this sweater with a bright red lip, and some gold jewelry. for bottoms- it would be perf with a destructed light colored boyfriend jean or a colored skinny denim.
it's the day after halloween, and all through the house, not a creature is stirring, not even a mouse. a friend is asleep on the couch with chocolate wrappers around, and you are missing one of your eyelashes- you probably left it downtown. you had an amazing night, but now it's over. thats why you have a: halloween hangover. <<enough of my horrible rhyming, haha.>>
anyways.... it's time to start planning thanksgiving and christmas. my absolute favorite time of the year. and, i have been waiting for this post for some time now- holiday dresses of 2014. sooo.... here are some from one of the best online shops ever. nasty gal. hi. hello. how's it goinggggg. among my "little obsession" posts, i'm creating a weekly <<that little trend>> post. this week, it's gunna be... duh duh duh... FELT HATS. you will rarely see me leave the house without a staple accessory. and lately- it seems to be my brixton tiller felt hat. found here, and seen below.. i have like a trillion different felt hats. ranging in brands from rvca, brixton, billabong, and element. they are all the cutest. but my brixton- by far, has been the best investment. the brand is super unique. and definitely started to redefine the hat staple. the quality is amazing, and they fit perfectly. i definitely suggest going to your local stockist to try them on for size prior to purchasing. if it helps- i wear a medium.
brixton hats can be shopped here. other cute, less-expenive hats, can be shopped here, here anddddd here. |
