i know i'm a little late- in fact 10 whopping days late.
i have been so damn busy, and when blogging doesn't pay the bills, passion has to take a back seat. sadly.
anyways, i can't can't can't wait to show you whats in store for 2015 and indiansummer. amazing collabs, new weekly topics, and much much more!
let's be realistic. if you really wanted to change, and improve on your "self being" wouldn't you have started that YESTERDAY? why wait for a whole new effing year to decide to make changes?
do i have this right? you're so unhappy with your habits you'll wait to start a "resolution" and give it up two weeks later and think little about it other than a simple "oh well." were ten days into the new year and how many of you have already failed those resolutions? probably 90%. i'm not trying to be a negative nancy, but let's get it together.
so, instead of making stupid resolutions... make a plan.
plan: 1) a detailed proposal for doing or achieving something. 2) an intention or decision about what one is going to do.
you're probably thinking to yourself what the f is the difference?
first- decide what your plan is going to be. maybe it's something you can't exactly achieve this year- but can set yourself up for success and achieve it in three years?
second- share your plan with others. mainly those who will support your long term goals and admirations that will push you and bring positivity and light into the situation. they will ask you "how is your (plan) coming?" this will keep you on track.
third- write the damn thing down. put it where you can see it daily. whether it be on your fridge, in a neat frame, in a journal. whatever or wherever. this is something to remind you that it's real; your plan is real; and where you want to go/be can/will happen.
resolutions are small things- like giving up soda. going to the gym daily. those are things you should suddenly decide to do, and keep up with it.
take this with you. and make a plan.
good luck guys! check back in a couple days for the first addition to a new regular topic here on indiansummer!
