one of the biggest trends right now... stacking bracelets and rings until you're wrists are so heavy they're hard to even lift. it can be the cutest fashion statement to a simple outfit, but you can also ruin the whole style with one error. so thats why i'm here, to teach you how to do it right!
rule #1: do NOT under ANY circumstance mix golds. rose gold, rust gold, true gold... they are all different and simply do not go together. this is the easiest way to fail, and instantly make your outfit tacky. sorry, not sorry.
rule #2: have a common color theme based off of your outfit. whether it be turquoise, black stones, white stones, gold stones, silver stones, lava, emerald, burnt orange, studs, leather wraps, salmon, bohemian... etc.
rule #3: yes, it is okay to mix silver and gold. and in fact this can sometimes be the cutest! it's exactly like mixing black and white. staple colors=staple looks.
rule #4: if you're wearing neutral tones in your outfit, wear bold neutral accessories. especially black, mix gold and silver, throw in some leather, studs, and chains and bring the look all together. if you're wearing more of a colorful/patterned outfit make sure your "stack" pulls some of those same colors.
rule #5: add a watch- they're timeless! my all time fav watch is the nixon- kensington. i own about 4 and they are always my go to for the beginning of my stack. it helps me decide what colors my stack will revolve around.
rule #6: last but not least, stack and stack. but before you leave, take ONE piece off. whether it be a bangle, a ring, or one that just makes you feel so heavy you're about to fall over. because most of the time some people can get carried away and that one less item will make you look so much classier.
